Ha ha, i thought i broke my iPod the first time i jailbroke it. Stupid DFU... *shakes fist*

Now i know its damn near impossible to brick your iPod. Well 2g's at least....

Yeah bro. I had mine for three days when the tethered jail break was released. I stayed up ALL night doing this and that... Until i realized i was/wasn't in DFU. Now redsn0w is a nice little program. when i first did it i had to enter all the commands by hand, and i couldnt turn off my iPod, or i need to use a computer to restart it. I never turn it off anyway so that didnt bother me. Except when i would be out and about and winterboard or cydia would crash the iPod then i'd be eff'ed until i got home.

if an iPhone can't be restored back to stock firmware and such then there are MAJOR issues with it and would need to be returned anyways....jailbreaking with blackra!n is the most simple way to jailbreak.

Hi Everyone..

I have already iphone 2g,but need to unlock it now,it seems i need to put a Sim card that comes with the i phone.but i don have it.i tried using foreign Sim<vodafone>but its not supported.only compatible Sim are supported..wat Sim exactly could i insert on iphone to unlock it so it will be compatible.

If you need to put a SIM in it to do anything, it needs to be an ATT SIM. You can try Blackra1n to unlock jailbreak it and unlock, you might not need the SIM with that way. (not sure since I have not tried to jailbreak/unlock an iPhone that did not have a SIM in it already)
