Looks like i'm not getting an iPhone. Everything I can do on the evo cannot be done on iPhone. For instance, no custom point of intrest on CoPilot for iPhone. No sound profiles, no widgets, no Swype etc. some can be fixed with jailbreak but there currently isn't one.

That's the same problem I ran into. After using the iphone I felt it was a great phone but it was more of an entertainment device and not a business/entertainment device like Android phones. I'll get it for my wife since its easy to use and learn. Hopefully she won't mind not having widgets.

Honestly, I hated the idea of not having widgets and a custom lock screen. But within a few days I totally forgot about the widgets and with iOS 5, the lock screen has everything that I want. I personally never used Swype more than a couple of times and didn't really care for it. And I never use my phone as a navigation device, so I can't relate there either. It looks like, considering all that you are demanding of the device, you may be better off with something else.

I find it ironic that you think the iPhone is less business than Android. There are a ton more business and utilities apps for the iPhone than there are for Android. And iPhone/iPad has exclusive apps, like the (free) VMware vCenter app that lets me remotely manage and control all of my VMs at work, on all three physical hosts. Don't get me wrong, I believe that the majority of iPhone users are using for it's ease of use and entertainment purposes, but there are plenty of high end, tech savvy, business apps that are out there for the power users like me.

I hate tapping on a soft keyboard until I get swype installed, but this new TouchPal keyboard is just as fast.
I also use my phone frequently as a GPS navigator, last night going to get dinner from work, very handy.
But being able to steam live sports via flash , again last night at work for the ufc fight and Oregon stanford game , takes the cake!

Sure you can google and come up with results but there is NO JAILBREAK for the 4S yet... All I can say is after the custom ROM I put on my EVO, TOUCHPAL keyboard and the tweaks... IMO my EVO is better then the iphone 4S. I also now have a HP touchpad that has DUAL BOOT with WEBOS and ANDROID! love it!

also I love having widgets.. for instance.. one click to turn on vibrate.. one click to turn on WIFI. I can see my agenda right on my home screen.. I can see the weather on the home screen.. etc etc etc
