Another Android/Hero forum?
 

Since alot of people including I are interested in the Hero, And as this is not a Windows Phone, Is there another site you guys use?:scratch:

Yeah I was wondering about that... I like PPC Geeks and dont want to find a new home after abandoning my TP... Is Android not considered a PPC? If not why is the Pre? (and if the Pre is not considered a PPC then why is it on the site and not Hero, Momentum, G1 etc...)

I'M guessing the g1 didn't get it's own forum here cuz it's gsm and not to many CDMA people here would even go into it, the pre is strictly CDMA and something new to us so it got it's own forum I would bet thaat the hero will get it's own forum and pic on top.

I love this site as well, But I am making the switch even if this site is not, I still have another line with me Tp2 coming soon, But I would need a link for Android or a Android section as many people are requesting it? Mod's do you hear us please?

+1 to what others are saying, I love this site and am always lurking around when when I am not using Windows Mobile phone but lets get the Hero Section going ;) I will contribute a thing or two

Ditto! I moved from the TP to the Hero. No regrets so far. Would love to have forum support here.

Yes please. I feel at home here. Also most of the other forums around are pretty much established with GSM users. I feel like a sheep with no flock.

Same here.. Honestly, though i work IT and have a Win 2k8 R2 Server w/ Exchange 07 that i sync all my contacts etc with, the inherent sluggishness that seems to be a part of windows devices has bothered me quite a bit... linux, on the other hand, seems to run circles around similar winmo devices. My friend's g1 was extremely responsive (although the stock rom is pretty quick, it still doesn't compare). Once you toss in the APPs.. well.. i'm considering jumping ship.. BUT.. I don't wanna leave PPCGeeks! Plz open a forum!

Also, I would LOVE a forum for porting the Hero's CDMA Android to WinMo devices!

There SHOULD be a bigger section for Android phones on here, just like the WM phones have. Granted there are not that many Android phone just yet, but as everyone knows that is going to be changing in the very near future. I do use PPC Geeks for all my PPC needs (always had WM phone), but I still try to look into other Smart Phones. And as it looks like I will be getting the new Droid phone, I will also be looking elsewhere for information if PPC Geeks doesn't open it self up more to Android.

I love ppcgeeks, and I still am on here all the time, but another site I also frequent called www.phandroid.com There are a lot of users over there, and it is usually a pretty busy forum

Check www.androidforums.com. It's pretty active, too.
