If its just not dl or updating, but definitely are purchased apps, Do you have a Screen Brightness Dimmer on because it will for some reason not allow apps to download/update. if youre having the "purchased" app issue from app acquired from Amazon market or other 3rd party markets go here

Also, if all the apps you're having trouble updating are Amazon Store apps, you need to clear the Amazon App Store data. And then let your app list refresh automatically. usually that works. In my case, it didn't.

I was having the same problem and finally called for tech support. It turned out that my account was registered 5 times and therefore it was clogging their servers and preventing updates and app access. I suspect it happened when I was restoring my apps from Titanium BU after rom flashing.

If you flash a new rom, never restore Amazon App Store data. Just the app. Otherwise you create duplicate accounts.

Hey Karl
It might be possible that your phones' internal memory is near full, I am saying so as the updating process starts and stops while in the process. Try to free some more internal memory of you phone by clearing the cache of apps installed on your phone and moving them to SD card. Let me know if this solves your issue, if not we will work on it with some other tips.
