Cell hotspot for Tablets

I've just finished rooting/updating my new xoom to android 3.2 and was looking to upgrade my old HTC Vogue for an Android phone to be able to use it as a WiFi modem(wifi/bluetooth theter).

I was wondering what cell out there could better fit the role... Should be cheap but resilient and easy to root. most advanced stuff would be done via my on my xoom... i essentialy need something that can take calls/sms and share it's connection.

note: I'm stuck with Bell and they are complete retards when it comes to tablets...

if tethering is all you want then you can use your vogue..

Well the Vogue does'nt have a wifi entena and the bluetooth has major issues with most devices.

I lost patience a while ago trying to make it work.

oh yeah..I forgot about the missing wifi antenna on the vogue..I used to use the Apache and mogul so used to having that wifi antena...been so long...

As for price well depends..if your on old plan you may be better off just getting a mogul/touchpro2 for cheap on ebay...

If your on new plan and don't want to pay the $10 fee the Samsung Replenish should work too...
