1-click root for 2.2.2

[26.04.2011][v1.2] GingerBreak APK (root for GingerBread) - xda-developers

I downloaded version 1.20 and installed. When I opened it it did everything for me. Does root and will un-root as well. Didn't take as long as thread said. 20-30 seconds before phone rebooted and had root. It was fast. Did all with phone (well) downloaded apk with my evo and sent to drop box, then sent link as a text to lg and installed. Then phone rooted itself. Make sure to have usb debug on.

FYI

None of the updates they've done so far have. I don't know how necessary this is on the Epic though. The very first one click method that we used on Eclair still works today.

help. got stuck in boot loop at the droid screen on the original Droid 1. un-rooting with superoneclick remedies this, but root is still inaccessible.
