Sprint's Dual Screen Phone from Kyocera revealed.
Still on going and showing.
Live from Sprint's 'Industry First' event with Dan Hesse and... David Blaine -- Engadget In my opinion, this is one huge epic fail. EDIT: If you think its a fail. Dislike this video uploaded by Sprint http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zk7nf6TNHH4 |

Sprint | Facebook
a lot of negative posts for Sprint. sometimes I wonder how a company can fail so miserably. and I use them :( |

One week to redeem themselves (WMC). Its so bad I can't even do anything but laugh. Where were the focus groups to inform them that this was a terrible idea after the changes in policies.

Can Anyone at Sprint actually think this is very important. How stupid can they get? Maybe its a joke and should have been released on April fools day. It looks like something that should be sold at ToysRus.

As a Sprint employee, I am disappointed.

Re: Sprint's Dual Screen Phone from Kyocera revealed.
Like everyone else here I don't think this phone lives up to all the hype about an "industry first". However I like the concept if done correctly. First of all it should have a bigger screen (it folds in half, why not take advantage of that and go double the screen size of a phone like the Evo). If this phone is supposed to be such a big deal why not have 4g capabilities? Also it is made by Kyocera. Have they ever made a ppc before? They could have went with a better processor too (perhaps a dual core to go along with the dual screens, imagine the marketing possibilities).
I guess I am stuck with my Touch Pro 2 until Sprint gets it together and gets a decent android phone. No reason for me to sign a new contract and pay $10 extra a month until then. |
Re: Sprint's Dual Screen Phone from Kyocera revealed.
Would be appealing if it had better specs under the hood - first generation Snapdragon and 512MB RAM won't be enough to keep the simul-cast mode lag free.
That being said, watching a movie while browsing the Web would be cool if it's a smooth experience. Hopefully Sprint launches something hot at CTIA. |
