Sync Contact Pictures
 

I've been searching and haven't found this, so pardon me if it's been covered. (Also like the similar threads feature when creating a thread)

My life is pretty much set through Windows Live, and in turn Outlook. I made a .CSV and imported them into my google account and set up my pictures again.

My question is will google sync up my new Evo with the Contact pics or will I have to do it manually?

HTC put out a Outlook sync tool for the Hero, so I'm willing to bet they will have a tool for the EVO. I don't know if that extends to the pictures, though.

If you went through and added pictures for you contacts in gmail, it will automatically sync to your phone. This is how I did mine.

As blazinazn said, if the contact's picture is in Gmail, you will get them on the EVO. You can also choose to get their pics from Facebook as well.

How can you do this? For the life of me, I can't find the option. I know I saw it somewhere but I don't remember. I have the facebook for android app on my phone but don't see it listed in the app either.

when you sign into facebook for htc sense, any contacts in your phone that have the same name as your contacts on fb will automatically sync. If the names arent the same you can go through and sync them manually.

bump :) was useful for me today LOL

what had happened was :) I tried some ROMS and went back to my favorite. Well in the process of adding my facebook back during the setup, for some reason the photos didn't sync with my contacts, yes I checked all settings.

I decided to read this thread and it helped, but also decided to remove facebook under accounts & sync, added back the one that had facebook for htc sense and poof, all contact pics showed up :)
