While I have my theories, why would anyone want to buy a year old device? They should get the Legend, if they are going to go the Hero route...

It doesn't matter to me if they get it or not, I just hope they don't expect it to be a big seller. They need to get the Desire if they want a Nexus One-like device in their stores (although it has Sense).

yeah pretty much. Why the hell would anyone get this? Why not just subsidize the Nexus One (they already have it unlocked with ATT's 3G bands)

I don't think AT&T wants android to be too much of a hit, due to their exclusivity with a certain, un-named company, and their issues with Android.
