I highly doubt it. I noticed immediately, and then the article mentioned, that the second two in "2.2" looks different than the first two. I personally think it is a fake.

I didn't even read that article but if froyo is suppose to end fragmentation, then the mytouch falls short of some specs, so it must be false.
