I don't imagine the Hero or Moment will be on the list of 2.5 updates whenever that does start to happen. I could be wrong, and honestly it doesn't matter since I won't be using either phone any more, but I still don't think they will do it.

Yeah, I hear and agree with you, I was just going alog with the poll. I'll be all over the EVO when it is released.

Why? We like to phone hop, it's what all the kids are doing nowadays. Get with the times...

Dude, I so want some froyo! Can't wait for the super awesome virtual callgirl/boi app that's being developed specially just for it.

"Are you a ppc nerd? Do you have dark rings under your eyes...is your skin pure white from lack of sun exposure? Are you lonely? Then get your very own virtual callgirl/boi to fill those needs in your life. If you are extra nerdy then try your hand at hacking this app so that you can get both a girl and boi at the same time..to add that extra spice in your life!"

I lawled

Hero and moment definitely wont get froyo. Froyo is said to end fragmentation, meaning there will be minimum requirements that these phones do not obviously meet.

You really can't say obviously because it's not known yet only speculation if either one of these phones has a better shot than the other it would be the Moment because of it's 800MHz processor

We'll just have to see how it all plays out though, all-in-all we'll just get new phones :)

That may be the case but there is obviously fragmentation as that is one of the problems with android, which is why with froyo fragmentation is suppose to end. If the nexus and evo are on one side of the fragmentation which side do you think the hero and moment are on? I came name a couple of games and apps that are only available for the moto Droid and nexus do to graphic and processor power, homerun battle 3d for instance.

That's possible too
I'm just saying we don't know yet that's all and for the games/apps that Droid and Nexus One are running and others aren't, could be because they're running 2.1?

Just throwing that at there, more and likely, like you said, Froyo won't go on devices with less than 1 GHz processor

I'm okay with that!

I like this game a lot actually, I do get bored quickly though.

As far as the Moments 800MHZ processor, it is faster then a lot of phones but honestly, to me, it doesn't feel it. Just my opinion (ducks).

I agree with you Carla. Having used a Hero for 2 weeks, even though it's supposed to be slower according to the specs, I don't see the speed difference between that and the supposed to be faster Moment.
