Cool. There is a little app you can install that will make it possible so that you do not have to select it every time. It is called SIP Change. The annoying thing about SIP Change is every time you boot up you will get a white screen called a "crash screen". So it just depends on what you find more annoying - selecting Swype every time - or the white screen when you start your phone. there are some other details about SIP change you should know. It may be in the same thread you found the swype .cab? I can help with that later if you are interested.
