I know it makes no sense and neither does it point to the correct file, but thats what i see..

I seen a few posts on this one, fix is:
1) Go into settings and configure that button for something else (doesn't matter what) and hit ok.

2) Now go back in and set the button to camera again

fixed.

Well on this 1.53 release (and all other 6.5 releases for that matter) Iris Browser does not

I know it works on 6.5.1 though because I tested it myself.

So i know its not Iris Browser....

So any ideas how to fix this?
Really like this 6.5 rom don't want to go to 6.5.1 again..

1) how about... Spire Software? anybody get it to work from the CFAY 6.5 v1.52 rom? It gives me an error when I hit Backup


2) and i cant figure out Treo Alerts either. How do you get xcast weather? i entered the zip code and nothing happens

The Treo Alerts that is in the My Documents isn't the most recent version that fixes xcast. For the latest version where xcast works is HERE

Yeah, I think I remember palm offering an OS upgrade a few years ago.
But other than that they have no interest in it.

I guess their feeling is why upgrade when we can sell more.
And now they're leaving WM altogether. So when this one dies on me time to find a new company.

I've never really liked palm but when they forced a 700w on me at work I actually came to really like them, I've bought 3.
But with these latest development I hate them again. Oh well it was nice when it lasted lol

I get a strange bug, a "messaging" app running when I wake the phone. All there is, is "messaging" in the task bar, and "x" to close it, but it still shows the today screen. I close it, and it's fine, but it does come up every once and awhile.

yea i got that same one.. beta 10, but i guess i had to add xcast to the rotation from the Treo Pro Alert menus..

I did that, and when i am connected to wifi it doesnt get the weather, just says "weather for xxxx" (xxx being my zipcode), but never said the weather, so i disabled xcast again.


anyway, any solution for sprite?

anybody get it to work with CFay winmo6.5 v1.52?
