I've been running 6.5.1 for a few days now. It's nice but really slow on my treo pro. Has anyone found any tweaks to help with performance? Has anyone reverted back to 6.1? If so, what are your reasons? Thx, JP

I've been running 6.5 (not 6.5.1) it is widely reported to be more stable and responsive. I love it except Internet Sharing doesn't work and memory is a little tight. Many people have gone back to 6.1 you can either go to cfay clean rom (stripped of bloatware) or to the stock rom...both are available through this forum. Happy flashing.

Does the screen lock work like its supposed to in 6.5, withought having to hit the start menu then lock?

Mine locks automatically after a few seconds, if that's what you mean.

What i mean is does it use the 6.5 lock screen where u have to swipe your finger across to unlock it, not the basic lock screen?

In 6.5, both screen locks are there...if you select "lock" at the bottom of the start menu the slider lock comes on if you hit the red button the old fashion screen lock comes on. Also, touhcreen is locked by default during calls (you can navigate using d pad to unlock or can go into the registry and change one setting...description is on this forum).

Ok, I know it has both screen locks but what i was asking is does it default to to the newer screen lock like on the touch pro, without having to manually make it use the newer screen lock. Not having to go in and hit start then lock, it defaults to the newer one when you hit the red button, and yes i already disabled the screen lock during calls.
