Sup Gs,

I can't sync. When I hook my cable in, it brings up the "Preparing your PC" dialog. Maybe I'm being impatient, but that dialog doesn't seem like it goes anywhere. I tried the usual Start > Settings > System > PC Setup route to disable that junk, but the PC Setup settings icon is nonexistent.

Anyone know which registry value(s) fixes this?

Dont be so impatient, go through the steps on your computer or click exit and it will say are you sure.

RealVGA is a no go. Once you install it and change it to 96dpi the start menu, contacts compose options disappear, etc.. on the bottom toolbar

Is there anyway to decrease the padding around text? I know it is there to be more finger friendly, but when I go to contacts I can only see two contacts at a time. Or when I go to the button configuration, I can't see the list of buttons due to the padding and big text.

I have went into the Screen options and turned down the text size as small as it will go and rebooted the phone, but the spacing around the text is the same size. Is there a registry setting I can edit to adjust this?

Try checking out XDA-Developers, their forum probably has all these nit-picky issues already dealt with..

Go to Settings --> Today and change back to an old .tsk file (or if you have one laying around). All the menus go back to being "regular" WM6.1-ish.

You can also go to start>settings>home> then click items at the top right and uncheck windows default and you will see a normal today screen...

"Chunky" is a perfect description of 6.5.1 :)

I didn't run this ROM for very long, as it was not Treo friendly.

Good job porting it over Cfay, downloading the 6.5 ROM now. 8)

Please remember this is the initial release. I'm quite sure it will get updated, refined and perfected over time either by Cfay or (hopefully) other chefs. I know at one time a few months past MightyMike and Juicy were both playing with the phone but have since moved on since there was no unlocker.
