Below is regarding RR23662:

1.) When I installed Real VGA and switched to 96 DPI, (I tried with "disable phone skin" and without) the start menu no longer comes up. Because of this, I cannot run RealVGA again to switch back to 128 DPI so I have to reinstall the rom. Uninstalling RealVGA via my PC does not switch the phone back to 128 DPI either.

2.) The top of the phone says "3G", but my phone is CDMA. I would like to know when the phone is connected with EVDO or 1x. How do I get this feature back?

3.) It appears that this rom has Outlook 2007 installed rather than 2010 (i.e. Cannot "red flag" emails). I can't find a place to check for the Outlook version, can you confirm?

4.) It appears that there is no task manager installed nor can I press the "X button" on applications. Some programs do not have an "Exit" feature and remain running. The only way I can close these applications is to reboot the phone.

Any advice or fixes would be great,

1. use realvga rom
2. its mightys taskbar, download updated rom, i left it out. BUt EVDO is 3G ya?
3. uumm, try new rom?
4. hold down OK button

I installed it on my wife's phone and she loves it. I found one problem that I couldn't figure out maybe it's an easy fix (I use a TP2 so I don't know much about the Treo Pro).

When the phone receives a call, it will only vibrate - no audible ringer. I also tried to play music, there was no sound. I was able to place calls (normal and speakerphone), but neither the ringer, HTC audio manager, or windows media player played through the phone's speaker.

I used the side buttons to turn the volume all the way up, so it's not that. Is there something else that I need to do to enable the audio?

p.s. I installed the additional cabs in the first page (sprint customization, remove arcsoft, sprint arcsoft, titanium notification, icsenable) if that matters.

First try installing the Ringer Update, it shouldnt be needed but try it. Well there is a Volume Panel, is that set to loud profile? I tested these ROMS and i know it rings as should and plays music. Maybe try a hard reset and see if that fixes things but i did not run into that problem....

UPDATE: I RE-tested eveything and it WORKS...

Turns out that I was right that it was just a case of me being a complete NOOB with her Treo Pro. I didn't know there was a switch on the top to go into vibrate mode... she mentioned it in reference to something else and she could probably see the steam coming out of my ears....

I have the "Alltel Palm Treo Pro", and was using it on Verizon (CDMA). I have flashed HardSPL, and flashed this ROM.

Now I read on the second line in the OP, and it said it works on ALL CDMA carriers. So, can I now take this phone to a Sprint store and have it activated on their network?

Curious because my software version still says "T850EWW-1.03-ALT" ALT = Alltel. Does that really matter, or does it just say that, but still will work on all CDMA carriers?

I have one issue running the clean rom. When a calendar reminder goes off, there is no menu to dismiss the alert.
