Uum i think you downloaded the wrong version? THIS is the newest RealVGA ROM

Totally right, wrong file! Just not the way I had thought LOL. Last flash I did on this (a long time ago in a galaxy far far away...) was from SD card and that nbh was left over on there... whacked it and re-ran... I somehow failed to notice the error 260 the first time around... that's what I get for trying to flash ROMS's at 3 AM... LOL!

Hi raiderfan - I like your ROM, but have installed it twice and keep getting the same problem. My GPS works fine with Icon's ROM. When I install your ROM, the GPS finds satellites for about 20 seconds, and then drops them. It will not find any satellites again until I do a soft reboot, and then it again gets the satellites for about 20 seconds, and drops them, never to be seen again until the next soft reboot. When I reistall Icon ROM, and sync the Quick GPS via the USB cable, the GPS receiver seems to work fine again. The GPS problem with your ROM is present using Google, Sprint's Telenav, Bing, iGuidance and Navicom, so I doubt it is caused by any particular GPS navigation software. I've tried installing your ROM three different times over the last couple months, always have the same GPS problem, and then retreating back to Icon ROM.

1. Is anybody else having this problem?

2. Any idea what could be causing it?

Sorry to hear about your GPS issue. Unfortunately my GPS works as it should (i use nav all the time). Try using quick GPS without your phone being connected to activesync maybe?

I've built several 6.1, 6.5, and 6.5.x ROMs using this kitchen and haven't experienced any issues with GPS. I always use quick GPS and configure it to auto update if that helps...

Still kinda of confused on the difference of VGA and 128DPI? What are the pros and cons?

RealVGA Rom uses 96 DPI on your screen instead of 128 DPI. Simply put, 96 DPI makes everything on screen smaller thus being able to fit more onto the screen
