Thanks for the tip, but that didn't help. Actually the problem was presenting itself even before I installed RealVGA...but I did double-check that the box was checked nevertheless.

Everything else is working splendidly, it's a joy to use...just that minor, yet huge flaw, lol.

which version did u flash?? 3/16 or later? bcuz i used his 1st release(3/16) and didn't run n2 that problem. try searching his site for the 3/16 release and flash it

yes, it'll work on alltel...mms is already installed. i have sprint(CDMA network like alltell) and it works fine

K, thnx. I just sold my Touch Pro cuz it was wiggin out and just bought one of these. It should be here later this week and I'll flash over to this rom.

What's the official word on the newest ROM revisions, is that "ringer doesn't work" problem the result of a few isolated cases such as myself, or is it happening to everybody? I really liked the enhanced start bar at the top on the newer versions, but I had to go back to 3/16 before my phone would ring.

I am having this problem on the 3/16 version. I tried to uncheck the advanced network functionality box, but it is greyed out.

I found that what was needed was to go to
Settings-->System-->PC Setup and change to synchornize from setup in drop down box.

BTW is there a better text message client than the built in windows one? I have no data plan on the phone so need to use the SMS messaging stuff, but my palm pre has a much nicer client (this phone is not mine, it is my wife's). Also is there a way I can remove power vision? I don't want it to connect to the spring data service ever. I tried a number of things, but after deleting it resets the stupid thing back to defaults.

Do any of these builds have the start menu button on the bottom? I'm trying to avoid that. I just would like to upgrade my moms phone, she running 6.1 on her Sprint Treo Pro and i think that 6.5 would be better.
