So my wife has been hearing me talk about flashing my ppcs for a few years, she has a treo pro and this may be her first flash. Now I have to go find the unlocker.

Out of curiousity, how did you manage to correct the 'Wait Cursor' issue? Or did you just simply remove it from the res?

Just to give you an idea... I started cooking for the device @ 3pm yesterday... From 3pm > 12am I was trouble shooting the wait cursor. I tried EVERYTHING!.. No go.

So, i shanked the icons from shell res and built the rom in about 30 minutes LOL!

I built the rom with ONLY oemdrivers... cursor was still there... removed as many drivers as i could before it became a no booter, cursor was still there, replaced some .dll's with rhodium dll's just to see what would happen... cursor still there... Finally i gave up and just settled for less!

The issue lies in

1) OEMDrivers
2) 6.1 Kernel

That's a forsure.

odd. I"m using marketplace, i downloaded homescreen customizer a few hours ago and it was fine.

I heard 96dpi breaks stuff doesn't it? I remember trying real vga on my treo pro way back last year and it really made some stuff break...

What's the ruling on that these days?
