The major concerns I would have are a) the Treo Pro screen is relatively small, and so 320x320 leads to some really small print and b) with WM6.5, I only get about 33MB of free RAM for programs, and some of the more recent GPS, etc. programs require 64MB+. Good luck.

Cool, thanks for the info.

I tried this ROM today but went back to the BigE 1.1 Build 21884
I just couldn't live without the [x] Task Manager.

Very good ROM in my opinion tho.

I installed QuickMenu, and set the OK button to close the active program, not just minimize it. Problem solved, and QuickMenu has loads of nice features.

Is this the quickmenu program you are talking about: http://freewareppc.com/utilities/quickmenu.shtml

Ok, I'm going to rephrase my question to be more concise. Thanks again Tomdt for the reply.

Would you trade your 320x320 screen for a 320x240 screen AND and extra 128mb of ram? I think these are the core differences between the Treo Pro and the Samsung Intrepid.

Yes, thank you for posting the link. One of the choices in the QuickMenu option menu is: "ok" to close program. When this is enabled, the "ok" hard key on my Treo Pro closes most, but not all, programs.

Does anyone have this problem: text messages is partially sorted by date. I have tapped the "received" under "sort by". I have tried it in options and it's still the same results. Is there a fix?

I guess the answer is no. I was talking about a real fix and not install the treo800sms cab.
