96 dpi makes the reso a lil smaller, similar to the touch pro. 128 makes it a lil bigger, i believe. BigE rom has 96 dpi already installed.

The 1.1 release fixed a lot of issues with the built-in GPS from the 6.1 stock and CFay builds so I have been experimenting with GPS in 1.2

So Playing with Google maps, with the GPS OFF, Google Maps finds me within 43Km using cell tower triangulation only and put me in another state when I turn on the wi-fi. With 6.1 and even BigE 1.1 it would put me within 800m without a GPS fix.

The wi-fi is probably an issue with skyhook, but is the cell tower triangulation an issue with sprint, the treo's a-gps or google?

I'm still running into the stuck "treo" ringer with the v1.2. Besides that, it's a great rom!

has anybody been able to get IE toggle to work with this rom? IE6 works just fine but i don't like it and would like to use PIE..... i cant seem to get PIE to work

I tried to install this ROM using Windows 7 instead of Vista. First try: error 260, all subsecuent: Error 262. The Treo stays exactly as in VISTA-tries: gray screen at 0% advance, PC side also 0%... in an eternal loop. The treo can go back to 6.1 via soft-reset. I tried different USB ports, USB disconnects... nothing seems to work :( any other ROM URL for the Sprint Treo Pro? A newer (perhaps older) ROM release? Thanx

as long as u unlocked ur fone 1st, try flashing via sd card, rename the ruu_signed to "PANTIMG"

Yeah I realized that, I am trying to use this app though and there was no PC driver included so my pc doesnt recognize it
