your hspl is currupt when you flash somehow. thats what it is. phone doesnt like something it sees so it just hard resets. i did this procedure and i have never EVER seen it again. also id like to add that i have flashed many roms after i did this and still not random hard reset.

I find if I put the phone in bootloader mode (shut phone down, then hold volume down, then hold the power key) and then connect it to my pc, then run the rom update utility I never have any issues.

My phone did a soft reset by itself 2 times. Both times it did a reset I was underground with no service, could that be a possible problem?

I've seen that screen on my OEM Sprint ROM.
It's got to be caused by cabs; I had a bunch installed.

so no one has been able to pinpoint the reason for the hard reset randomly happening?
im aching to flash but with the TP1 flashing was childs play and there was NEVER a way to get screwed, it was flawless.

this thread was quite a shock and is keeping me from flashing at all which really sucks cuz factory sprint rom (although better than tp1 stock) still sucks!

My phone just randomly hard reset and I have the newest unlocker...WTF?

I've been having this issue over the last week, although I am not getting that screen. I am using MightyRom and it would randomly freeze or reset itself, when it came back up my data would be wiped out. I restored the phone to the original Sprint Rom and then reloaded Mighty Rom, so far so good. Will update if anything else happens.
