NRGZ28 does it with mortscript. I use it in my personal roms and his volume control changer too.

I have followed it since Juicy's R3...and there were more than a few people working on that at that point. I think there is a fix...and I may have made tiny strides on the few things that I've looked at. As far as this Cal's thread on the kitchen is concerned...I threw it out here so maybe a few more people that are a bit smarter can take a look at the reg entries that seemingly have NOTHING to do with HTC messaging. In fact HTC messaging has a completely different reg entry. I don't proclaim that I'm smarter than anyone here OR at XDA...but I'm sure fresh sets of eyes looking at this problems, we can collectively figure things out.

Lets be real...HTC is pretty good with hardware design, and UI implementation. I'm sure we can all say that folks here and at XDA pushes the envelope of their devices.

So don't shoot me if I'm bringing up something that can make more than a few people happy if it gets fixed...

i'm not really mad at you, i'm mad at my own frustration because i've spent numerous hours trying to get it to work and i've come to the conclusion its not going to happen. i'm really mad at myself and the sleepless nights i've had.

how do i get this to work with calkulin? I have motorscript installed because i use showaco, can i just copy those files out of the directory and paste them into this directory? Man i want those enhanced menu's so bad, its the only thing missing from my rom.

seems to work and takes over the ugly windows volume control, doesnt seem to change the icon in the taskbar though and needs some icons in the start menu (they are just plain white boxes)
