I'm having a brain fart moment...how do I get WM messaging client back to being threaded??

I noticed that once you press on the message on the messaging tab...you're taken to WM messaging reply screen as opposed to HTC Messaging reply screen... is there a reg edit to use HTC client vice WM client for regular SMS replies??

Great kitchen! I built a Manila 2.5 rom and it is fantastic. Just have one question: it there a way to remove those "HTC ..." (calendar, footprints...) shortcuts from the start menu? Where do they live? in the Manila 2.5 package? Thanks.

You need to edit this reg setting -

Change this:
Code:

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\HTC\Manila]
"IsShortcutEnable"=dword:1

to:
Code:

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\HTC\Manila]
"IsShortcutEnable"=dword:0

It's definitely not creating a problem, at least none I could ever identify.

It's only in the SYS because Calk put it there. In other kitchens it is under Rhodium External Packages and is selectable. SYS files are usually for core WM OS files, not external HTC applications.

Because of that HTCMessage is not necessary for WM6.x to function, so removing it could potentially cause Manila problems, but not something as core as IMAP email syncing.

Either way, the problem in this case is tied to my GMail account: it simply is not syncing via IMAP although a secondary GMail account that I have does sync--so something is off on Google's end, even though IMAP is enabled in my account.

Conclusion though is kitchen is fine :mrgreen:

Other topic: Google Maps 3.3 is out today. Who has a working OEM they can upload? Or rather, how do I get it to work in OEMizer? I get an error message about it not being signed when cooked in now. TIA

Other topic 2: 28008 is out today.

Hey Calk. GREAT KITCHEN. It's so smooth that I went back to 21055 because I still LOVE 6.1. Since I mostly use manila, there has been no negative to not using 6.5. I did like 6.5.x but I need a working task manager. I'll try it again later. All issues I had are non existent now.
