Yeah, I was trying to cook a rom and it kept saying something about that romhdr and all that....so I just found out what was wrong or missing....took them from another kitchen and popped'em in there and BAM!

Now I just have to flash to see if it works!!!!!!!

I wanted to try his ROMs out. I like MS3 over Manila. I cannot find any functioning links to ROMs. Is this only for builders?

Just one more thing.....I don't know if this is possible but is there a way to shrink the size of the rom so I'll have more program memory to work with?! Like if I took out some stuff.........is there a way to reduce the size of the rom?!?!?!?!

T.I.A.

I don't use sense, that seems to free up the most memory. i get over 100mb at start, might be down to 70-80 by the end of the day. I'm on 21647, but gonna try 23114 tonight. 28232 was a very stable smooth ROM for me as well.

Well, no payload file made it either! Now I just need to know how to get the sprint manila on there instead of the regular one! I have the files but don't know where to put them!!!!!!!!!

Also........is it possible to get rid of the "OK" and "Menu" buttons on the bottom of the screen?!?!?! You know, just make it regular?!?!?! I'll see, still have to fool around!

HERE Chuck posted an optimized Sprint Manila with all the extra languages removed, cfc'd and the png's "optimized".

Some of these optimized files were too optimized for manila to use. No biggie for me... but i could understand things not looking right.

HERE Zone23 isolated the bad files... and posted them.

So I used K-Diff (way better than windiff) to compare them to the good (stock) manila files, and i replaced the bad files with good ones.

Ive been using this for a little while, and i can say i REALLY like it. Its been nice and smooth, no odd graphics (that i noticed) and saves space.

If someone can, inturn, make me a nice XML script to remove the sprint files in the process of cooking... I would love that. I have NO idea what is what....

Ok and Menu buttons are a sign that you are using a 6.5.X build. If you want a "regular" build, then u need to use 6.5... which i believe is 28XXX.

U would know that if you read alittle.....
