quick question. a lot of cabs that I use are nothing but tweaks in cab form. you open them up and there is a xml in there. can I just copy that into my kitchen with the rest of the tweaks? will it run if I do that?

changed it to a provxml like in the tweaks under oem and gonna try it that way and see if the changes are made.

Anybody doing GTX with Cookie 1.7? It's giving a full reflection clock no matter what clock I throw at it. Even if I put a regular flip clock in, the numbers sit entireley on the top half and flip down to the bottom and stay as a reflection of the top clock. Any idea how to fix?

Sounds like you may have Inda's start menu tweaks or another package that is moving your start menu icons around. Cook a rom with no extra's-remove all your added customizations and cook. If your office is in the right place, at least you will have it narrowed down. If you will post a build log, one of us can prob tell ya where it is happening at.

Kamill and El Condor stopped developing for GTX entirely...and left the project up for grabs. As far as the thread there indicates...Dark Ninja has picked it up and seems to have GTX working right with cookie 1.7. Think he'll release when he can have 1.7 "cooked in" to GTX. I tried to install GTX lite (without cookie) and got the same results you did.

as a side note...anyone notice how XDA seems so much more serious than us geekers?

Got a noob question here! When I try to create a rom it tells me "You need to specify the "DEVICEID" first".........well......how do I go about doing that?! Is there something I am missing in the kitchen because I can't just click up there and type anything in that box?!?!?!?!?!?!
