PPCGeeks - [ Kitchen ][ 3-5 ][ v1.6 R3 ][28232 / 23542 / 21893 / 21056] Calkulin's WVGA Kitchen

I've run into the same problem with Marketplace. Bing works fine cooked in as a ext, but I keep getting unable to connect errors with marketplace. Mr X mentioned something about a modified AKU, but I'm not sure what that even means or what effect it would have...

that's kind of interesting. AKU would be for example running SYS 21646 its aku 5.3.0 running 28232 its aku 5.5.0

i.e 21646.5.3.0/ 28332.5.5.0

We'd have to have a chat with Mr.X to find out a little more, I talked to Mighty about this a while back, but he said something was specific, or perhaps he meant because it gets updated

i just use the marketplace in the kitchen, run it once and it downloads, keeps same icon and everything, so it works for me.

ever thought about searching for marketplace.cab once it downloads from your phone, transferring it to PC and converting it into EXT format?

I haven't gotten to that quite yet, but i'll attempt that tommorow, see what happens

I've been using this EXT for Marketplace for my last 10 or so builds and I haven't had a problem. I change the Skymarket in the SYS to false. It doesn't have to download anything when I open Marketplace on first launch, just agree to terms and Marketplace opens.

Hey ya'all... I think I've seen the fix here before, who can job my memory and let me know how to fix this dialer icon at the bottom center of this pic? I'm using SYS 23557?

More importantly were did you get 23577 at? I only have 23557? I feel so out of the loop. LOL
