Thanks reg doesn't effect anything. The Editor EXT copies that file from the Windows folder to Program Files\CHTEditor folder and the EXTs reg already points to the file in the Windows folder.

Are you saying an app.reg with ......

What do you mean exactly??

the stock tab has a default list of stocks... HTC, Nasdaq, etc. I have to remove/add stocks every time I flash, so I was wondering where the list is stored. Basically, the list of stocks on the manila stock tab.

Ya I see what your saying. When I look at in the CHT Editor EXT it says CHTE.PATH"="\\\\program.. shouldn't it just be CHTE.PATH"="\\program..

If you are cooking in Co0kie's Home Tab you need to delete the manilafull.xml from your EXT. It can cause issues in manila.

Let me start again cause I'm all outa wack now.

So according to XDA I needed to added:

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\HTC\Manila]
"CHTE.Path"="\\Program Files\\CHTEditor\\CHTEditor.exe"

in order to make the menu/Co0kie home tab editor softkey work. Looking at the CHT Editors EXT that line is already in the app.reg. So what needs to be done to fix the softkey menu? I had originally added it to the CHT 1.7 EXT I'm guessing thats not doing to work?

I get an error CHT Editor Not installed

With \\Windows\\CHTEditor.exe

The File CHTEditor canot be opened. Either it is not signed with a trusted cert orone of its components cannot be found.

Just a heads up, I just loaded 21899 and while it is really fast it is also a REAL battery eater.
