i wanted to add Footprints to the new sprint build (that someone has been so kind to remove the sprint tabs already). I've got several Exts that have been floating around that i did have working at one time. now i can't get it to work.

The failed to parse value name usually means you have something off in your app.reg that i couldn't read. Check for \ instead of what it should be \\ in certain situations. Your MightyROM WAR_BlueSatin is what is hosing up your graphics and probably your dialer, it is overwriting all your buttons and what not.
You also have a several hundred duplicate modules going on too, that's never good. i would fix that as well.

Im not suprised your phone looks and behaves like crap, you have a lot of work to do!!!!

I'll look into this and try just a naked build. The manila error I'm not really conserned about as I don't even have manila or sence cooked in. I do have the tsowentaskbar2 cooked in. Like I said I will try to cook a naked build with just the sys and see what I get. Thanks for a direction to start looking. let ya know what I find.

also, I went into the reg. tweaks part and changed the backlight but for some reason it didn't take. the edits I made for pandora did. got any ideas?
A lot of your setup.dll's are getting overwritten in the file as well as other dlls. You may need to rename the dll's in certian ext's as to enable them to be installed without overwriting another programs setup. If you change the name, make sure it is changed in the app.reg as well. ex

This should add just the Footprints Tab to the Sprint Manila package I posted before...

i just can't keep up with this thread like i would like to. it bums me out. you guys are doing such a great job keeping things up.

that being said. do you know anyone having problems with the newer kitchens? i had much less problems with my roms build with Caulk's older kitchen than his new one and any version of it that has been posted. it's just odd.

Just an FYI Setup.dll's mean nothing in an EXT/OEM format, see rstoyguy's explanation, these dll's are called on only during a cab install. When you convert a cab to EXT/OEM and there is a Setup.dll chances are it will be difficult to get a 100% functional EXT/OEM that does everything the cab will do. Can be many things from moving files, adding/deleting reg info, etc.
