the easiest is to us sd config or a similar type program and just have it added to the ROM during the configuration phase at the end of the install (just my opinion) you can use CEreg to create them into cab's to make it even easier

I'm sorry to be a noob, but how do you make a cab of register edit's??

create a folder for your package. inside of EXT> Shared>Packages

in the folder create an empty folder called: files

create a new text document and rename it to app.reg (not in the files directory but in the root of the folder you created for your package)

put this into it:

change romversion to your rom name and date

you can also put all your other regedits in here.

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\OEM]

haven't noticed anything negative at all from the new OEMDrivers, however i don't use sprintTV etc.

i've got a handful of updated OEM packs sourced from the 6.5 dump & various other builds. i'll upload them when i get a chance :thumbright:

yeah, you can put all of your regedit's in that one app.reg file

or you can make separate package's if you want to be able to split them up, but usually its easier to put all your tweaks in one file.

if you want to be able to identify them then you need to add a comment line above it so you can remember what it does.

a comment line is denoted with a semi-colon

Ex) ;BACKLIGHT TWEAK

then put the regedit's below it.

Does anyone know how to get the settings link in the start menu back? I don't know what I did to make it disappear. :)
