Is this version "better" than the 1412 Leo version or is it mainly that this is the newest version made for the TP2 and therefore is more "pure"?

Are you running any home replacement apps on the Moment??

I thought Zefie stopped developing for the Moment since he got TP? Well, I've been on SDX and running a slightly custom Joey kernel but I'm currently working on porting Sense UI & some apps to the Moment

Hey peeps. Hoping I can get some help on this: I've been having a few pagepool frustrations again.
Deets: SYS28232, M2.5.12, about 600 Modules.
pp 0: Levels out at 140-150MB in use out of 199MB and has Awesome battery life.
pp 12: Levels out at 110-120MB in use out of 187MB and has 2nd best battery life. Tends to be unstable.
pp 16: Levels out at 100-110MB in use out of 182MB and has pretty bad battery life.

Basically, pp zero is where it's at because my phone will last all day. Even when I'm using Wifi alot but the high memory usage is frustrating for using apps like Opera9.7.
Anyone found a happy middle ground.

BTW, I don't plan on switching off of my TP2 until a decent device with Snapdragon or Tegra comes out. Just wouldn't be enough of a leap forward for me.

If you port Sense I will be buying a Moment for me (and stop playing w/ the wifes). No he started Midnight Channel because he was having some issue with people there. Kinda like Goove had issues here. He is kicking out kernels like the worlds gonna end.

and a public service announcement because ive been seeing people say that search is useless, im not a search nazi, im really not, but the search function works, and works well, just like anything you have to LEARN how to use it.

A thought: I often read posts in which the author laments their inability to find an answer via search. Those responding with answers will often include a link to a page they found with their own search. If I may suggest, perhaps it would be helpful to include your search terms in the response. Not everyone will learn from this, some won't even try, but maybe enough will to make a difference. If we can help people to find their own answers instead of (or in addition to!) flaming them, it makes everyone's life easier.

Thats too bad I don't plan on switching entirely to android for a while. Not until sound works (on the TP2) at the soonest. I'm saving my Sprint rebate for a windows 7 phone. If the windows 7 phone really sucks then I will sell it and get a android, but android phones are cheap..... er.

Not yet it's not closed....

As for the Android comment, yeah your right, till now, Android phones have been shitty but from what I have seen, most of HTC's best phones coming out this year are Android, so I guess they finally realized how much of a let down 6.5 was

I think it deals more with price. MS licensing for mobile phones shoots the price threw the roof. We can do the same thing on a android for a lot lower cost. Thats why a Hero is 159 and a TP2 is 299 other than the keyboard but I don't think it cost that much (140 bucks).
