does anyone out there have a working background 4 all ext they can pass on? Every time i cook a rom the back ground on 2.5.2012 sys 21893 always breaks down the middle in landscape and never works.

I have a question i sucessfuly built my first rom and now i want to customeize it ... creat folders for the shortcuts ect how do i do this? sorry for the noob question

Agreed. I switched from MaxManila and haven't looked back. One notable inclusion with 1.6.1 over 1.6 is the ability to hide the CALENDAR text when there are not calendar events, similar to the way Call History is set up.

On a different note, anyone running 23544 have any boot issues? I am running 6.5.x/23544/.1225(manila) with Cookie 1.6.1 cooked in and had a wierd issue with a new mail. I received a blank email saying sender unknown. I usually see this while the email is being downloaded, if I am on the mail tab, however this time, it never changed.

I decided to reboot to see if ti would fix itself and the first time I got the Windows Mobile screen logo(the one that Calkulin includes) but it stopped there. After that, I could only get to the HTC screen and it would stop. I had to do a hard reset. This is the FIRST time I have ever had to hard reboot off any built ROM, so I'm wondering if it's something with 23544. I had been running 23106 but the dialer was a bit flakey when connected to BT.

23544 is running great over here no issues with it. The email problem I have had before with different sys to fix it I would have to delete my email account and recreate it again. as for the soft to hard reset I to had this problem with different sys but not yet with 23544. so far so good.

I dunno if it's a bad flash or what but I am having some serious issues with 23544. I can't reflash as I am at work but so far since having to hard reset, I have built it once, then manila wouldn't boot, hard reset again, everything came up fine, installed everything, then after a reboot when finished installing some progs from marketplace, suddenly my data connection disappeared and I could net get it back. Now I am hard resetting again.
