YA it is cosmetic but all of sense is cosmetic. Its all good! 1412 is fine I think 1225 is as well, just the latter doesn't have the cosmetic issue and you can easily cook in ereader, and documents tabs. Although I couldn't get footprints to work and never really have.

Its the the fun of cooking yourself its whatever YOU want!

how are you cooking in documents and ereader and when you do, is your youtube sound broken? i cooked them into 1225 and my sound is broken. 1225 is so much faster than 1412, i really don't want to go back to it just to get documents and ereader.

I have no idea if Youtube was working or not because I didn't try it when I had those tabs cooked in. Now I don't have the tabs because I don't read books, and the documents tab was a little buggy. Every once and a while it would shade itself. The only way to get to unshade was to reboot and that gets old so I removed it.

i had the same experience from the documents tab on every rom i've tried it on...except for the version i cooked in with the beta kitchen...never had any problems with that one.

I see no difference in performance between 1225 and 1412. Although I don't have ereader & documents tabs showing and I still apply Energies hack to kill documents indexer.

Yes I selected Manila 2.5. I have been using NRGZ's ROMS but I want to learn how to do this for myself that way I can control exactly what goes into it. Thanks for your response. Any suggestions to try to fix the issue?

PS

The Software info screen still shows the hardware info instead, anyone know how to fix this?

I'm still having issue with the message notifcation not clearing. On all of the ROMs I've ever used with TouchFlo and Sense, the sms notifcation clears if you look at the message for about 5 secs. I've gone into messaging and marked every message as read and it still shows that I have 2 unread messages. Any help here??? ](*,)
