I am a total noob at cooking ROMs. I cooked a couple with ppckitchen but would much rather try out Calks. Excuse me if this has been covered before (i searched, didn't find anything) but I can't get passed the initial option to create a ROM because it says I need administrative priviledges. I am signed on as administrator, don't know if that's what it's talking about. Can anyone help me out?

Another thing you might want to try is to create a shortcut and right click on it and select properties, on the "shortcut" tab, go to advanced and tic run as administrator and click ok - ok

This will save you a few steps each time you open the kitchen. Just remember to do this for each new kitchen you use. Hope this helps:mrgreen:

Yah, tried 0 a while back. I heard that it will adjust automatically but I found that toying around with it sometimes makes it work better. 64 on my TP flew with no issues, faster than any others I tried. 0 locked it up. Now the TP2 is a different story. All of my old issues are fixed (like overheating) with a brand new set of issues (still finding a few LOL). Overall, over the last hour I tried several PPs and 12 seems to be working the best on the TP2. Thanks for everyons help!!

Here is the EXT I've been using for Opera9.7
Internet - Opera Mobile 9.70.35801.0

All I did was use Calk's most recent Opera9.7 EXT, updated the 2 Modules, and updated the OEM MASD entry.
It seems like it works a little better. Feel free to let me know how it works for you.
Cheers.

HELP!! lol I havent cooked a 6.5.x rom in a while cause of instability, but have givin it another try and was loving it. UNTIL a couply hours ago, i clicked facebook, said there was no program, clicked resco explorer, nada! tried soft reset, removed battery. everytime i boot it up all kinds of invalid programs and crap, got into the file system and it seems everything that was installed into the root side had been wiped out, wether it be a program cooked in or what i installed. so is there an answer to why this happened? should i hard reset in hopes it doesnt happen again? or recook up a new rom.....ive never had this happen with a million cooks ive done](*,)
