i honestly don't think they care lol, because you have to pay them to use the gsm side of the phone (either prepaid or contract with the sim). it's already unlocked for world use, but sprint locked in the states

thanks for the help... glad i was able to sell the tp2, i honestly like the phone and would like to keep it as a back up but i paid for the evo full price.. any $ i get back is welcome.

sold the tp2 for 200 bucks lol

i recently had my phone flashed to metro and i asked to guy to sim unlock it for me, and i just want to make sure, he did. So if i insert a sim from another network and i go to the sim security and it says sim unlocked, does that mean that he did unlock it? BTW its a sprint touch pro 2. But the reason i am asking is because whenever i put in a sim, it says that it can't find service.

unless the guy is olipro, you're not sim unlocked. buy the unlocker from post 1

sounds like he didn't update the radio, what radio do you have?

naw, he didn't sim unlock. some folks think they can just flash these radios, but they don't realize that they have to pay for this in order for it to work
