Thank you.... this should definitely be a sticky since Juggalo_X is taking so long to unlock his. I missed this and ended up hard resetting. He even updated now that he won't be able to dump his Telus Radio after all so theres even less of a reason for that thread to be up there. Mods PLEASE sticky, people need these radios.

have these been tested?

all i did was unlock my phone for the roms? flashing the radios is just like with the TP or we need the other security unlock?

Anyone have any reviews on the different radios? Running stock Verizon TP2, and the radio could use a boost!

In the mean time, can you sticky this thread?

Re: Rhodium Radios From stock roms

no, there is no need, i will be updating my links tomorrow. i still need to sort out hte usc radio.

in the mean time this thread will do fine where it is. In all honestly i will not sticky any radio roms unless i endorse them my self as this is a very sensitive issue that can cause bricks.

I hope you understand that this is nothing against any one. i just don't need sticking a thread that may cause mass bricking under my belt, hence why my thread still has no links.

go to system settings, then click on Device Information
or
dial ##778#, view, then see what it says for Firmware Version
or
when you first turn on your phone and you see the red letters and numbers, your radio version is the one in front of the R

Re: Rhodium Radios From stock roms

I've just noticed that the stock radio on my TP2 is already the 1.88.07WV. Not sure I'm even having problems with the radio or not, but I'm having problems with the signal bars at minimum.

Re: Rhodium Radios From stock roms

1.88.07WV was nothing but issues form e and others... it was to the point where i would be in full signal and a SMS would not send with a network not ready message. flashed to USC 2.05 and all is well.

Re: Rhodium Radios From stock roms

The problem I'm having is the signal bar would go down to 1 bar, then shoot up to 4 or 5, then go down to 2, 3, 4, shoot down to 1, shoot up to 5. It's almost constantly in motion. When sitting next to my Blackberry Storm 1, my Blackberry has 4 solid bars and it never moves.

I was hoping to find a radio (not a complete rom) that will resolve this issue.

Not sure how I missed it either. When I did a search for "radio" a few weeks ago, all that came up was FM radio this and FM radio that. I don't even care about my phone having an FM radio in it as I don't even listen to FM radio stations!

But, I may hold off for a while. Flashing my Blackberry was simple and you never had to worry about bricking them because if you did, you just flashed the original ROM back on and started over. It seems like on a WM phone, if it's bricked, it's bricked.

I personally don't see any reason why if you brick a phone, that you can't restore the original ROM and start over. For you to have a phone replaced because it became bricked from flashing, is unacceptable and shouldn't have to happen.

There should be a way to make an image of your entire phone for a backup so that if your phone becomes bricked, it can be flashed with that image and you can start over. I'm fairly new to WM phones, so there may be a way. But then if there were, you would've done that to yours before you had it replaced, correct?

Very scary to even think about WM phones being real bricks and not being able to be restored like Blackberries.

Maybe stupid question but will 1.96WF work with unlocked sprint tp2 on US carriers! Please reply!

Thank you to all in advance!
