When I launch the "ROMUpdateUtility.exe" from a ROM archive (Juicy R4) in this case, I get "ERROR [208] : FILE OPEN".

I did make sure that I am connected and WMDC has the phone as Connected.

Maybe I'm doing something wrong, but I'm just doing the same things I did when I had my Touch Pro. I would assume the Touch Pro2 follows the same general rules.

If I rerun the HardSPL Unlocker, the ROM update utility works fine the next time I try it.

Why do all the HTC Touch Pro 2 HardSPL downloads look like the "Bloodhound" virus according to Norton? And, is that correct, or should I just disable Norton for the purposes of performing this upgrade?

just disable...it is a false positive....I have AVG Pro and it does not even pick it up...
