From what I gather regarding the donation process:
The first time I run the unlocker, I will donate.
This transaction might be fully automated, and that makes perfect sense.
(Nobody has to wait around to verify all that info...)
If I were to try to get by with a freebee, I would expect to have to wait MY TURN along with everybody else.
I'm sure it takes a staff of maybe 6 people to screen all those "WAA_WAA" silly people that don't understand that in the 2+ hours that one might spend trying to get something for nothing, they could have just done something good for some hard working, dedicated individuals.

I work at home and earn $14.oo USD per hr.
It is easily worth 30 min. of MY wages to get it here & now.
When I get me second TP2, I will donate again.
Why? Because if the process IS automated, then I will use less resources then I would if I were to take the time to file a request.

I'm sure that these fine developers have enough to deal with taking care of all the ones that want FREEBEES.. and I'm sure there are a few honest issues too.
But all that takes HUMAN TIME.
I just hope that we can all be a little more understanding & try to avoid negativity.

And IF you think 3GPB = to about $5USD, is too much to part with, then consider the time it takes you to make or save that much, compare that to the time it takes to file for a freebee, and either Put UP or wait your turn.

If you knew that this was going to be your OTHER than first time,
mabe if you filed your request BEFORE trying to unlock your replacement,
Things would have gone smoother..

Look at their track records - they are honest and for the community. Drop them a polite note and I'm sure they'll respond when they can.

It's not like you need that phone of yours unlocked this very instant. :)

Based on others who are having problems with the first time that they tried any phone I'd say that there's something wrong with their server setup that is flagging phones incorrectly. Be patient - I'm sure they'll work it out in time.

I'm just waiting for a new working version of the unlocker + stable Fast useful ROMS to come out. Or windows mobile 7.0 either or... just tired getting my endorphins going when i see the updates on this site and then getting really pissed off when they dont work despite many suggestions

Although I had previously sim unlocked through a private seller many months ago; I made sure to donate to the team to motivate the hardspl;

I have only recently started using the TP2 and love the Might ROM; thanks to the team for making this HARDSPL available!!

I may want to give a TP2 as a Christmas gift for someone; can i do the automatic donate (same computer) or do i need to change computers (since i read phone IMEI are flagged per computer?)

same thing happened to me. i've unlocked only two phones. Two different phones, but because it was from the same IP address at my office, it got flagged. Paid twice...even though they were personal. Had a replacement phone come in, same error again, so paid for it again. So far i've paid 3 times.. :) and yes...these are personal phones.

In all seriousness, the answer to all gripes related to this process is NOT "if you don't like it, make your own". I do NOT like the fact that my IMEI was flagged until payment was received and/or I waited an undisclosed amount of time for my new phone to be unflagged.

Quick question ... So if i dont have an internet connection on my comp i will never be able to unlock and flash custom roms???? This was never an issue before with diamond or vogue. If i was to tether internet from another phone while running it would that work?

Everytime i try to run the unlocker, it gets to the installation phase then my phone shows that it is loading something, then the phone just freezes. It all also freezes if i try to manually put it in SSPL. Any ideas on a fix this is really $#%$# annoying
