Im a noob. I have Mr Xs custom rom 2.5. I love it. So what is this thread for? I don't understand...and i think im getting missed messages here, did sprint finally release 6.5?

yeah sprint finally dropped the sense 2.5 with winmo 6.5 some of the regulars have already uploaded the extracted .nbh if you want to flash from a memory card or i just uploaded the extracted .nbh in a ruu so you dont have to run an exe

This thread has the stock official roms for the touch pro so that people can flash back to the stock rom, if they want. yes, the new sprint rom dropped a few hours ago. I posted a link to it 4 posts back

Thanks people. But would i really need it? wouldn't mr xs rom be better or no? and ive been using all kinds of roms. Would i flash sprints 6.5 rom just like i would any other rom? ......oooooor, couldn't i just go to update firmware on my phone. ha sorry for all the questions:)

Mr. X rom is really nice, but it's not made specifically for sprint, so the big deference betweeen the two is that the sprint rom has all kinds of sprint software and settings already built in. The sprint rom also has a new radio built in. Custom roms do not have a radio. The update firmware option does not update your rom. It's best to just flash it and check it out. That way you know which is best for you. and yes...you flash the sprint rom just like you do custom roms.

what is the radio anyway? and why is this rom taking, it says 2 hours to download. am i downloading the right thing?.. im dloading this, what mr x put up-

the radio affects the way your phone communicates with the cell towers. for better or worse. reception, call quality, data speeds. thats the old rom that you're downloading. i told you where the link to the new rom was.
