sigh 11/7 ROM also strips the Auto Adjust Backlight setting???

Can tell me what might have change in the 11/7 ROM vs. the 11/5 ROM that would remove a feature in my SPB to enable Auto Adjust Backlight?

0.8beta 2.5m just updated today. did not launch manila on initial boot. have tried to go into settings but whole thing runs so slow not even sure it will launch. unable to open any applications. pretty unusable at this point. gotta go flash something else. keep up the hard work. i'll be back. good luck!

fyi, so far i've tried mighty and energy leo 6.5.1 m2.5 and they are both running awesome

Hi, thanks for all of your hard work. So far, I'm enjoying this quite a lot, however, for some reason when I go to weather to add a city, say, New York, it does not find it. It will find a city in Poland, oddly, but the US? Uh-uh. Any thoughts?

I did go to a new kitchen, maybe something got lost in the process. I haven't used SPB in a long time, so I'm unfamiliar with it. Lol, everytime I try to update this rom, the worse it gets rotflmao.

htc sense 2.1 does not contain a Sprint TV tab, try my Stock Sprint Manila rom for the Sprint TV tab. The phone issue is because I updated to the Leo Dialer which has pics of who called you. I am currently trying to get it to work. Sorry for the issues.

Tried all day to get MMS to work via all the stuff I could find on the forums without disabling the HTC one. No luck, could not get the arcsoft to work either before on any rom till now, here is how i did so I can MMS for now the arcsoft way.

install the latest 2.5 version from 11-7

settings>all>connections>advanced network>SMS Service>set to GPRS rather than the default GSM

Install the CAB to disable the 2.5 HTC version messaging, reboot

goto SMS/MMS messaging and menu>Pics/Video Options. on the CDMA Servers>SampleMMSC server change the vtext to sprintpcs and save.

You can give it a shot, the worst it'll do is not post, and in that case you'd have to flash a different rom. As long as its a Cdma TP2 should be okay to flash it.

Help! I hard-resetted with this ROM and now I can't sync at all. I tried unchecking "Faster data" and "Ask me" and nothing. I hard-resetted 3 times and still no sync luck =(

Add Addtional Keyboards to Reflectionist Rom HTC 2.1,sense?
 

How can I add addtional keyboards to this ROM? I like the touch keyboard but sometimes like to us the stylus friendly full keyboard for the CTRL key. Are their CAB files I can install to add all the keyboards that come stock?

I had this same problem using activesync. I don't know if that's what your using, but I uninstalled and reinstalled activesync and it connected. good luck!

I would just like to say that the look and feel of this ROM is fabulous! I used the Sprint Stock manila ROM and think the art is just beautiful. I probably would have used it longer than a day if it played nicer with Mobile Shell, but man, I just wanted you to know that it was shockingly gorgeous!

Just loaded this up with 2.5 TF3D. Seems to run pretty good. Some issues I encountered are:
- It will not let me change the weather background. It keeps defaulting to the stock one.
- Sprint TV hangs for about 5 minutes, and then it will just load up....

So far everything esle seems good but I haven't really had to much time to play......

I have just loaded the 23506 rom, thank you for making this build i have been dying to try out the com 5 builds, I Actually use MS 3.5 and PhoneX 2.1 so I will report any bugs i run into but will not be testing TF3D. I do want to say to the users that describe this rom as not SPB MS friendly it only requires a simple cab to disable the Showcase (taskmanager) position fix, I can post a cab if requested. will report further with use. so far so good, great job man loving the look.

I will try any SPB fix you have. Cab links greatly appreciated.

For me the 2 issues with the latest build and SPB were

• 6.5.1 Start bar overlaying the bottom of SPB home

• SPB back light control not showing the option for auto adjust.

Both of the above issues are not an issue in the release on 11/04/09 so I have rolled back to those. Since I am not running HTC Sence, I am using the 2.1 Release from 11/4. Maybe chazybaz13 will even release a non HTC version? :)

This is a beautiful ROM and am loving it!

Not sure what happened, I installed, enabled Sense and it would lock up after boot up, couldn't access start menu again...... had to install another ROM manually.

edit: Flashed to another rom, then reinstalled yours.... all seems okay for now.

Install this cab and soft reset for fixing the Bottom bar issue, I personally always use auto backlight and never new that SPB could toggle this setting I don't even have the icon like you have which i have never had in any rom i have used MS 3.5 on. Was this a mod of some sort custom widget?

The back light is nothing special. Just go to Launcher > SPB Menu ? > Backlight (light bulb icon). It is not a widget, just a SPB feature (ok widget). It has been there since I have been running SPB, even in back when I ran PocketPlus. The "auto adjust" option seems to be ROM driven. So it is not a widget, but you can add a shortcut (ok widget) to the SPB home screen :) .

I am currently downloading the 11/9/09 version of HTC 2.1 and will flash and give feedback.

Ok, but i have the icon for backlight and have always had it just as you have, although I don't have the option within the backlight preset for auto like you have in the pics. Thats why I was asking if it was a mod or not cause i have never seen this maybe its another SPB product that MS ties into (pocketplus?)

I am running SPB MS 3.5 and PhoneSuite. I no longer run PocketPlus.

ok SPB Users, update time. I installed the 23506 HTC 2.1 Reflectionist ROM.

Good News:

• Bottom Bar is fine. No covering SPB funtions on the home screen, no cab needed. =D>

Bad News:

• Auto Back light control is not there. All 5 options for static settings are there, but the 6th option (as displayed in early screen shots) is not appearing. ](*,)

I will probably flash back to the Nov 4 ROM again later as I really light that option on the home screen (yes I am that lazy :disgust:) .
