I didnt start getting the SetSysTimeZone.exe error until I uninstalled a cab(cant remember which one). Hard reset any everything was fine, so it could be something that gets inadvertantly uninstalled that starts that error

I just downloaded the rom an hour ago and when unpacking it I recieved a few error messages. The file was not complete for some reason. Didn't contain all the necessary files to flash. And I did wait for the download completion and success notification. I am redownloading it now and let you know the results.

Really is the best ROM of RodhiumW for now, it is smooth, and stable. Thanks. I like it.
My only Request is that if do you will do this ROM in other Language?? For example Spanish, Thanks again.

I have a problem with the weather on my HTC Touch Pro 2. I installed the ROM which was super smooth, did a hard reset, downloaded the QuickGPS, then set my location and it showed the correct city and state. After a few hours, it changes my location to show Frances and I can't change it after this happens.

Anybody know how to change it back to my actual location?

I have been running it for 3 hours. No problems at all. Smooth and stable. Jury is still out on the battery life. Fed Ex just dropped my phone off today, so I have been plugged up except for a couple of minutes to test the data connection and gps.

Anyone have any battery life results to report?

awesome battery life, i flashed w/ only half batt and it lasted all night and most of today. great rom very fast thanks for your time and making my tp2 better than most.

One thing... I assume that the my location thing only works for some ppl and not others I have not been able to get it to work on any rom w/ tp2 or my diamond?

Other info people may want:

• Storage = 264mb
• Program = 96mb

It is a pretty fast and zippy ROM, obviously nothing fancy but that's sort of the point. I do wish it had the HTC Start Menu ability/option as I don't care for WM6.5's as much. Still, it's a solid ROM.

NP. It's a nice ROM, no issues so far or even quirks. This is a great ROM for those who want WM6.5 and Sense, which are nice, reliable updates to stock WM6.1 and Manila.

And no bloat or, ahem, flashy "this is MY ROM!" start up screens, lol.

I've been having one issue. I get an error "The file 'SetSysTimeZone' cannot be opened..." after every soft reset.

It froze a couple times when I tried to change a setting in NeuBattery2, had to reset after those, so I'll leave that alone for now.

Other than that, great ROM... I love everything about it. No battery, signal, or performance problems. Everything else runs as it should

Anybody have any idea about that SetSysTimeZone error? (EDIT: nm, just saw some other people with the same problem a few pages back)

One more thing, when I started Opera the first time after flashing, Google was in French (I think). Did this happen for anyone else?

Couple of questions I get the same problem 'SetSysTimeZone' cannot be opened", still waiting for an answer to Sprint TV. How do I get the auto screen to come on automatically when I hit the power button, also I have tried the transparent clocks and I get a white box on the today screen, lastly I used BG for all pages WVGA and I it works but the clock numbers turn to white boxes which of course I can't see the time. I am letting you know these things as the Roms is so far the best. Just trying to get it to where I love it for myself and having some problems. thanks for your help inadvance.

TellMe doesn't seem to work with this rom and it didn't work with NRGZ either. It did however work with Mighty. Any idea why it won't work?

hey guys quick question maybe its something i am installing on the rom but it seems slow. i am flashing from the sd card then doing a hard reset after the phone finishes loading 100 percent. after that i am installing is the sprintnav. (whats the difference between the sprintnav found here and the telenav 5.5) bejiveim. pimbackup. and thats it. the memory useage after a reset is aeound 50 % but after a few hours goes to 80% and the rom becomes laggy at this point any ideas?

did you restore doing pim backup? I stay at 65 % after hours of use and with opera mini open, it never goes over 70% and things run pretty smothly..... Also do you use any clean ram or anything?????

I love your ROM, CFAY. It is the most stable, fast, practical, US CDMA friendly ROM I have been trying so far. I have some suggestion for your next release.
1 - Increase Touch Sensitivity. I tried Mike's ROM and I like this feature on his ROM
2 - Organize Start Menu. Either HTC's start menu or FOLDERize
3 - Fix Flip Clock goes back 1hr and 2min
4 - Remove some bloat programs: MSN Weather, MSN Money

There is somethings you might consider: background for all tabs, replace the "phone" tab on today screen with something else (we can use "Send" button instead), transparent slider.

About the memory usage, I think that is a bug of WinMo 6.5, I tried all ROMs on this forum and always got around 60-70% few hours after resetting, I tried htcADDicts CleanRAM, Pocket Mechanic v2.98, but they don't help much. Any ideas?

First of all... HUGE thanks to Cfay for what in my opinion is the best rom available right now..period! Been using it since released and cannot put my phone down!

I am looking for a 1% battery driver which would work with this rom. If anyone is using one or if Cfay is aware of one which will work please let me know!
