Also for people like me still using the 21864 build, the following cab: C07 SenseUI 2.1 Trans Slider Fix Mode9, fixes the transparent slider overlay issue when you have unread messages/emails. Here is the thread where I got it from.

It seems that he's able to make the 6.5.3 X Button to close programs instead of minimize by default. I haven't flashed to his ROM, but do you think you can find out what he's done and include that feature to the next EnergyROM release? Thanks!

quick question... is it true that youtube would not load desktop version of the site on your phone unless you have flash? i can't seem to load the desktop version of the site. there's no button or link. it always brings me the to mobile version

+1... that's the only thing preventing me from leaving 21xxx builds!

I looked through that thread already, it doesn't have the newer version of Opera 9.7 for WVGA that NRG put on the Nov 9 release of Photon. They only have VGA versions of the builds used in the Photon Nov 9 release.

Will the VGA versions work properly on our TP2s?

I'm running the Nov 9th 21864 2.1 standard. My world clock won't let me remove ANY cities, and the "menu" soft key on the weather tab won't work at all. Is this a bug of this ROM? If so, is there a fix, or do I just need to reflash? The "My Location" is working, so it's not a huge deal, and I'm running the MTP Radar weather tab with weather panel, but I would really like the menu on the weather tab to work because right now, I can't change how often it updates and have to do it manually.

Are you running release 1 or 2 of the Nov 9 rom?
I am running release 2 of the Nov 9 21864 build of "Photon" and have absolutely none of the problems you're experiencing. I have reflashed to this version of the rom several times, so I can confirm it is not a bug in the rom. You might need a reflash. FYI using manila 2.1 you CANNOT change how often the weather updates, you only have the option of automatic updates or manual updates.

I guess I need to reflash then. EnergyROM_21864_RHOD500_09.Nov.2009_Standard R2 is the version downloaded. Right now I am stuck with the 6 stock cities and the My Location.

Strange, that's the same version I am using. The first thing I did was delete all those cities and enter my own. Sorry man, looks like something got screwed up and you need a reflash. You might wanna try the Nov. 19 release of 21869 standard. I personally didn't like it because it only comes with Opera 10, but if you're going to reflash anyway you might as well try what's out there.
