I think theres an application that is called close Xbutton. Will double check it. I used to use it on my old hermes. will see if i still have it but dunnow if it is compatible with the resent roms. who knows

Yeah, I have been trying to just find some solid details on what people know about the differences between builds but its a tough hunt. From what little I found it looks like the improvements are pretty minor.

They have been playing with 28002 over on XDA for months now getting it into roms but 850 pages of a thread is tough reading for minor details

Id really love to see a change log of sorts for the builds. Yeah I know, microsoft is the only one with the changelogs, but peeps have to have an idea but I still can't find one spot that tracks em.

I am still looking for the option to disable "New text message from!" and it pops up on my screen whenever I'm trying to do something, has anyone found that? And 28002 has been nothing but good, had some little trouble in the beginning, but I'm still messing around with it.

On a side note: Has anyone found any themes they like to take over the energy plus theme?

one quick question since we are using manilia 2.1 are we still able to get the weather animation like in 2.5 ? Not the one that works in the clock but the one that take up the whole screen. For example if it was a cloudy day the clouds would show up every where on the home screen is there like a cab for that or something

I am unable to get Verizon MMS to work in sending a video file. When I use the shortcut menu for MMS, it brings me to the standard text message editor. When I have a video displayed in the album, press the envelope for the send options, and select "Messages", I am again taken to the standard text message dialog.

I just installed 21864, cleared the storage, installed the Verizon fix for MMS on the first page and did a soft reset and it still doesn't work? Any ideas?

Yes, there are still full screen weather animations, you just have to go to wallpaper in the manila settings tab and select default to activate it.

I personally like the HTC black theme, I think it looks slick, just solid black.

Nice, I'll give it a try the next time I flash, I'll wait until 28xxx comes with Opera 9.5 or 9.7, I just can't deal with only Opera 10 or IE (who uses IE?).

When it takes you to the standard text message editor, go to menu and select "insert" and then pic video, that should take you to another different looking text message screen, where you click on another insert button and then it should take you to where your videos are to select.

Thank you for the help. I'm curious as to whether there is a way to have it automatically insert the picture into an MMS image when I select to send it from the album view. This is how it worked on Mighty's ROM. Also, when I select "MMS" from the shortcut menu, I'm brought to the standard text message editor. I have trouble believing that this is what NRG intended for this ROM and am wondering if there is something I need to tweak on my particular phone.

Edited to add: The solution you offered does not work for me because "insert" is greyed out in the menu.

I really prefer the look and feel of this ROM over Mighty but this is beyond irritating.
