Animated weather works after going to Settings/Wallpaper, and selecting "yes" to Default Wallpaper

I installed the 23504 standard rom, and just a few things I noticed were:

1. This rom is fast

5. Internet calling is available thru the phone! Didn't check to see if it worked.

8. Account Manager under Settings/Connections displays landscape incorrectly, but the text will still be typed in. (Manages Facebook/Youtube accts)

9. Memory management is top notch! Ran cleanram after installing lots of apps and making LOTS of changes on my phone and it only wiped away 2.5megs and I still had 89MB free!!!!

Those are just several differences from the 21864 build that I noticed in the 10 or so minutes of playing around with the ROM. This is still a very great build and I wholeheartedly wish to thank NRG for pushing it out! I can't wait to try out the leo.

Does anyone have Microsoft TellMe working on 23081 manilla 2.1m Nov 3rd Rom? and do you know if .net 3.5 is included in this build? any suggestions would be helpful

One more thing I noticed about the RC1 ROM is that new SMS messages were not being displayed in Manila. The only way to view them is to hit the "All Messages" button at the bottom of the page. Hopefully this works a lot better with the 2nd RC he's releasing now! Thanks again NRG!

Anyone notice that the Homepage's contacts window is a little buggy? Its just displaying an all white screen with the letters to the left. If I click on the screen a random contact will pop up. It also hasn't loaded up any contacts past "F." I hope this gets fixed too as its a nice feature.

I'd appreciate it if you edited your post after the release of the R2 to reduce confusion. The first release was obviously flawed and my beta testers failed me again. Is anyone up for SERIOUS beta testing and not just "early access" to the new ROMs ?

Sure thing, I'd be happy to change it once i get my hands on the new rom. I just wanted to help out and point out some of the the differences which I noticed. I'll check the new ROM against the one that I had posted and eliminate anything that was corrected. And sure, I am off work today and would love to test out the new beta build for you!

I did notice that the full screen weather animation is gone form this build. Is that correct?
