does cht 2.0 freeze for anyone else or is it just me? I've experienced this on all the wm6.5 cht 2.0 roms that nrg has made.

Another question. How do I restore my contacts from a pim.vol file? I copied it to my SD card before flashing to this ROM, but when I copy it back and restart, Sense doesn't load and I can't see my contacts. I used this method the last time I flashed a new ROM and it worked fine then, so why doesn't it work now? Help!

You should use PIM Backup software (in Programs -> Tools) to back up and restore your contacts. I had done it many times without any problem.

The thumbnails are stored in \Windows\Thumbnails but I've never tried to save them before flashing and copying them back. (I read way back on pocknow.com how you can replace the thumbnails with your own file but it seemed kinda complicated). However, copy/paste may work.

I'm dead serious, if it had a different name we'd probably have a "Home Screen Replacement Menu Switch" built into the Energy ROM!!!!

If we did have a switch like that, here's what I'd prefer in order:
1. UIP HSR (iphone today)
2. 681 cookie 2
3. 681 sencity

I'll have to disagree, I'm not a fan. Love the RAM savings but I love the look of NRG's regular menu more! It's a tradeoff between the hot chick with some minor issues vs. the boring and ugly bookworm girl

Now that Cookie2 gives you an option to display RAM usage as an icon, I can just keep an eye on it and soft reset as needed. I find that if I reset in the morning, I'm good for the rest of the day.

recopy the pim.vol from your sd to the root, i had the same problem once. (it's only happened once in like 2 years of using this method)

pim backup sucks because you loose your facebook connection with contacts and it doesn't remember sense contact tab favorites!

...not to disagree, but it's there, quick, and easy....and never hurts to have a backup of a backup. "just in case". btw it always remembers my sense favorites every time I flash. Puts them back in the same position every time.
