And NO, a hard reset will not erase your SD card. It WILL however, erase the data from your phone.

Anyone installed a dialer with larger buttons without adverse effects on the 23128 builds?

After flashing the new ROM? no. I would do it before I flash a new ROM.

The procedure is the same as you went through when you flashed Mr.X.

Same for me. Although I've had the issue for weeks. I just want to prevent the phone to get out of standby when sliding the keyboard. It usually happens when I slide it in the holster which is a lot of times in a day.

Hmmm.. Heres a thought. Do you have one of the holsters with the magnetic flap? If so, put your phone in the holster with the screen facing your body. I was having hte same problem a while back and doing that seemed to have fixed it for me.

I can slide my KB out past the first row of keys and the screen does not come on.

EDIT: I got a little curious about this and decided to see what happens as I move the magnetic flap around my phone and it seems that the "trigger point" is the lower right-hand side of the phone - which is where the magnetic sensor/mechanism for the stylus is. The funny thing is, if I pull my phone out of the holster and the back of the phone rubs on the magnet on the open flap, the phone turns on.

EDIT2: An other thing to consider is that the phone will turn itself on if you go in and out of roaming mode.

David

Hey guys,
After i have login to facebook via sense... i am wondering how the screen should look like when you slide to that tab. I see only on item which my picture and it says update on the top of the screen. everything else is blank... is it suppose to list all recent status updates or wall post..? if not then whats the point of all that space under when i could have just clicked on the app in my quicklinks...

second, when i tap my pic it tells me that i have group invite, new notification, etc... and when i click on say notification it launches opera and loads FB... is there a way to set it so that it launches the facebook app instead?

Have you tried Gyrator? It's customizable.

Anyone else notice that when the phone is fully charged, the charge led stays orange, and not green when still plugged in? This is new for me.

dave
Just curious, how long did you plug it in for? If you've had it in for more than 3 hours then try unplugging then plugging it back in.

Thanks David

Have tried facing out, facing in, backwards, etc... no luck.

Tried the magnetic flap on the lower right side. The result is strange,

I have enabled the keyboard sliding sound (to know if it turns on when sliding in the holster), and when I get the magnet near the sensor it makes the sliding sound, and tuns on the screen, rotating the screen (never turns off if I get it away or approach it).

I guess I would need to disable that sensor as I get no use for it.
