I am definitely a noob, but I feel like I can figure things out pretty quickly. Have googled, searched high and low, and I cannot find a substantial answer. Hopefully someone here can help!

I am currently running Titanium 21907 on my Sprint TP2, but I have had the same issue with EVERY NRG ROM I have ever flashed. Went with MIGHTY ROM for a while, but simply disliked so much about mighty I had to come back to NRG hoping the issue was fixed, but it is still alive and well.

My issue is that I am constantly getting the famed "ERROR: Dialed #777" message after my phone has been on for a while. A soft reset will fix this, but I am tired of having to reset my phone every 5 to 10 minutes or so if I need to make calls, then send an email, then make some more calls, etc....

to get the updates, do we have to install the whole flash or just use a patch..any help would be appreicated..

Always the whole flash. I wish there were incremental upgrades.

There's good reasons though as to why incremental updates are not used..

for more information on that try googling something like "why programs are cooked into roms"

Google sashimi on youtube to learn how to make the flashing process a whole lot less time consuming

I would suggest making sure that you provisioned the phone, update profile and update PRL, usually it's due to data connection error, are you in a low signal area or someplace where your signal drops? Make sure that your network is on CDMA and not global also, try those and see if it helps you.

yeah. PITA, huh?

But like I said.. youtube sashimi because what sashimi does is everytime you flash it restores ALL of your settings, your mail accounts, owner information, program, program serial codes, etc

sashimi makes all of the registry edits for you automatically. Be prepared to spend a large amount of time: 6 or more hours learning sashimi and setting everything up for the first time but trust me it'll be worth it. In the end you'll be able to flash to a new rom whenever you want in less than 30-40 minutes each time and have your phone exactly setup like it was before

use sashimi and ceregedit side by side. ceregedit is another program you'll want to research to make this work. Good luck!

NRGZ preconfigures a lot of the stuff already, so unless you use something to back-up certain things like email then yes you'll need to set some stuff up, really it doesn't take that long to set stuff up plus for me I like to go through all the settings to make sure that they are what I want anyways so I set my stuff up manually, but everyone's different, just depends on how much you flash and what settings you'll want to change. I advise just setting things up manually until you read up on the programs that can do that for you since you look to be new to all this.
