i just flashed the 2/16 21892 maxmanila. the flash went as usual, i even got my sdconfig.txt debugged and it worked for the first time!, but,,,,,i'm sitting at the main tab with the message "Launching HTC Sense..." it's been this way for 5 minutes.
since i flashed, i;ve soft-reset, i've changed the today items to load windows default, soft-reset, and that worked good. then changed today items to load htc sense, and now i'm back at the "Launching HTC Sense..." again.

should i eliminate running sdconfig and do a hard reset to see if one those cab's is messing sense up?

Has anyone noticed how much memory the reader tab takes if you use it?

12 MB for me once launced with no way to reclaim it.

Has anyone noticed that there is no way with the UI to hide it?

hmmmm....

• Attached is a cab to hide the tab. You will need to restart manila or reboot for it to take effect.
• I have also attached a version to restore it if you change your mind.

This is the registry key you will need to add if you want to do it by hand:

I am on Verizon and have all messaging (SMS and MMS) working through HTC messaging using the from this thread: http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showpost.p...postcount=8489

That does require installing a cab. I have seen some posts (from clueless25 I believe) that can get it working without installing anything, but I have not tried his method yet. It works for me using the above process. I hope that helps.
