the "patches" work on the new rom. not sure why they didn't on the first version.

mighty isn't using 2.5. that's where the problem is.

look back a few posts. i've posted basically what i did.

but. it will NOT work with the new HTC messaging. the steps are as follows:

1) intall Disable HTC messaging cab from Juicy (thanks Juicy!!)

2) install Mightyrom Sprint carrier cab from Mighty (thanks Mighty!!)

3) install arcsoft mms cab floating around in posted thread

4) change server settings as posted. the steps for this have been posted around somewhere around here for sprint.

Oh I am not talking about getting MMS working, I am saying that my signal strength taskbar icon is not functioning properly. It appears to basically be broken. However, if I flash to another ROM (which as mighty's) it works again. Is there a cab that is specific to the taskbar which I could try to fix the issue? It is as if it just isn't installing fully.
