The MMS fix doesn't work in the FAQ for Verizon. This Verizon MMS fix worked the best for me! You can SMS via Manila or WinMo and you MMS through WinMo only:

Is there a way to upgrade roms without wiping the phone? I went with Leo, and was thinking of just upgrading when a new Leo comes out.

Thanks, but the volume was just fine before I flashed. It's something to do with the ROM. I seriously appreciate you trying. You're the only one so far. Lol.

Strange...I was going to recommend using a program like Audacity and turn up the gain and save the file.

Yeah, it's not the file. When I play the file in WMP, the volume is fine. When I trimmed it in MP3Trimmer the volume was fine. For some reason, when I choose it as a ringtone for the phone it plays low. That and my other question was if there's any way to disable the 2 second "lead in" that's built in to the ROM? You know, how the tones play low for the first two seconds, then play full.

Hmmm As a last resort, try converting the MP3 to another format, and then transfering it to the phone. Just as a last resort?

My fault for not doing more thorough testing on this one. It's all ringtones...stock and otherwise. I'm still running Oct.25 Leo and I do remember someone else posting up something about not caring for this as well. All tones escalate by default with the first few seconds of the tone playing "low" then playing at full volume thereafter.
